Summer rain on a catastrophic Monday. I enter my studio after great difficulty in getting to the neighborhood. Thirty centimeters of water still occupy the entire space, paintings floating around, lost materials.

After a few weeks of cleaning and organizing, I return to this large panel. The flood theme was already present, and after the flood it seemed obvious to intensify the studies around it.
