A bird sings is a book that began in 2020, two weeks before the first quarantine in the state of São Paulo due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Contracts were signed with the publisher, director and design, the writing process unfolded over the next 6 months, then design and at the beginning of 2021 the book was printed in 600 volumes in Portuguese and 200 in English. The book is about dramatizing the last 5 major series of work by the artist Paulo Lobo, drawing scenes around the paintings, drawings and photographs. Today the project is to realize these scenes in various video and installation forms.
